We're sorry you missed the opportunity to join us on this cruise featuring special guest Jody Houghton and quilting instructors Joyce Becker, Janet Bottroff, Patti Carey, Jo Anne Gordon, and Mattie Rhoades! The onboard quilt shop and Bernina sewing machines were provided by The Needle and I in Everett, Washington for quilters on this cruise - thank you SEW MUCH Georgia Gale and your staff!! The quilters had a great time - and quite a few registered during the cruise to join us in 2011 and 2012 and took advantage of the opportunity to book their staterooms for the cruises while we were onboard and received a shipboard credit for their future cruise. We are really looking forward to sharing another cruise with them!!! Major prize winners on the cruise included Linda Mitchell who won a $1,400.00 quilting cruise credit she will be able to apply to one of the Quilt Camp at Sea cruises she had already booked for 2011 and 2012; Deanna Van Slyke won the $600.00 value cruise memory quilt; Dixie Tanner and Mary Church each won $300.00 future travel gift certificates; Sue Morgan won the Accu-Quilt Go! cutter; Janet Street won the $750.00 Aurifil thread suitcase; Fran Bennett won the Simplicity Bias Maker and Strip Cutter set; Janet Burback won the Diva Essentials bag filled with Clover Products, Lorri Andrews won the Chocolate Lovers Delight gift set, and the list goes on and on.........by the end of the cruise every quilter had won at least one door prize with over $6,000.00 in prizes won just by the quilters plus an additional $3,500.00 in prizes the quilters and non-quilters were eligible to win plus over $4,000.00 in gift items that were provided to the guests sailing on the cruise!! A large number of the quilters (and non-quilters) from the cruise have already registered to join us again in 2011 and 2012 and we look forward to welcoming them back!
The Crazy Hat Challenge winners were Candy Oisten, Patti Carey, Shirley Stogryn, and Christine Zier-Traimer but ALL of the hats were fabulous!!
